Ross has over 25 years of experience in Asia-Pacific, defining market presence and competitive positioning strategies for TMT companies providing managed services and wireless solutions. Prior to joining Ovum, Ross was a partner with Intercedent Asia, a regional B2B consultancy. Project work included helping to develop the Open ROADS Community, a digital transformation forum, with Huawei Technologies.
Ross has also served as director of the Economist Corporate Network Director (the Economist's senior executive business advisory program) in Hong Kong, as the Asian research director for Pyramid Research, where he began his career, and as a consultant in AT&T Solutions' operational process improvement practice in China and Indonesia.He has written about Asia's digital economies for the Nikkei Asian Review and was a contributing editor to the MIT Technology Review in Asia.
