Rishi Kaul
Rishi Kaul is an analyst in Ovum's Consumer Technology and Media Technology teams. He specializes in smart TVs, media streamers, and wearables as well as rights and royalties, content delivery networks, and content management solutions. Previously, Rishi was part of Ovum's Data and Enterprise Intelligence team, focusing on customer analytics software-as-a-service and he often brings in this data and analytics expertise to complement his consumer and media technology research.

Rishi has worked on multiple consumer and enterprise surveys and is in charge of four forecasts at Ovum: smart TVs, media streamers, wearables, and media transformation ICT services. Since joining in 2016, Rishi has authored key pieces of research, including Using Connected Device Data for Analytics and Customer Engagement, 2019 Trends to Watch: Media and Broadcast Technology, The Augmented Customer and the Enterprise CX Opportunity, and Market Radar: AI-Assisted Chatbots for Customer Service. Prior to joining Ovum, Rishi worked as a professional services analyst with Nielsen and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Political Economy.
