Gaurav Shukla
Gaurav Shukla is Ovum’s senior financial analyst with a research focus into communications provider spending. His research also covers communications service providers, OTT/cloud content providers and carrier-neutral providers of cell tower and data center infrastructure.
Gaurav research blends both financial and technology analysis. For example, scrutinizing the effect of 5G or SDN/NFV on the effect on individual company spending.
He also provides support to Ovum’s capex forecasting team.

Gaurav joined Ovum in November 2016 and is based in India. Prior to joining Ovum, Gaurav spent five years supporting GE Capital as a private equity portfolio manager, where he managed a portfolio of US-based private equity investments in technology, telecoms, and related verticals.

He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Delhi.
