  • BT has agreed to acquire EE for £12.5bn ($19bn). In October 2015, the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) provisionally cleared BT’s anticipated acquisition of EE. The final decision will be published by January 18, 2016.
  • CK Hutchison agreed to acquire O2 UK for more than £10bn. Completion of the deal is expected in 2016 – the matter is being examined by the EC, which will reach a final decision by April 18, 2016.
