This report describes how and explains why European wholesale revenues from voice, non-voice, and mobile wholesale changed between 2015 and 2016.

  • In 2016, the total European wholesale market was worth €41.0bn ($45.4bn), down 3.0% from the 2015 figure of €42.3bn ($46.9bn).
  • The non-voice sector was the largest in 2016, with 67% of the total. This was followed by the voice sector with 25% of the total. The mobile wholesale revenue reached 8% of the total.
