Introduction

In 4Q16, we commissioned a survey to examine the “new digital consumer,” surveying consumers in Australia, Brazil, China, France, the UK, and the US. We found that 63% of respondents purchase a bundle of two or more services. Just under half of consumers who do not take a multiplay package consider it highly or moderately likely they will do so in the next two or three years.

  • The launch of Netflix has put the operator bundle under the microscope. This survey gives insights in how consumers view their multiplay services, as well as what telecoms services are considered must-haves in the bundle and what are not.
