This presentation analyzes the services and trends that were identified in the Telco Services Innovation Radar: 2H14. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the Radar and aims to identify and provide insight into some of the service innovation trends in the telecoms industry.

Highlights

  • Telcos are focusing on embellishing their core voice, messaging, and data access services to provide enhanced service integration, enhanced access to content, and enhanced customization of services inside and outside of their own service portfolios.
  • In 2H14, we tracked a total of 459 service launches. Mobile money remained the the most prolific category, and most service launches were aimed at mobile consumers. This presentation offers analysis plus case studies of some of the most innovative service launches.
