The latest iteration of Ovum’s Regulatory Scorecard shows that, overall, regulatory environments across all the geographies observed are increasingly close to international best practice. Latin American countries have shown the most significant progress.

  • Latin American countries are showing clear signs of improvement across different areas of regulation. In particular, a major reform in Mexico has created a more stable and complete framework, although it is still too soon to properly assess the ultimate impact of the reform on the market.
