There were 73 commercial LTE-Advanced networks employing carrier aggregation (CA) around the world at the end of 1Q15, with the largest number being in Western Europe.

Highlights

  • Of the 73 commercial LTE-A networks in service around the world, 29 are in Western Europe, 17 in Asia-Pacific, and 14 in Eastern Europe. Fifty of these networks are designated as being Category 6, which means they are capable of supporting speeds up to 300Mbps.
