This is the second update of Ovum's standalone Netflix SVOD Service Provider forecast. This update includes our first forecasts for several new international Netflix markets, with rest-of-region summaries for smaller territories. In addition, we have updated our historic analysis of Netflix based on official annual and quarterly reports, up until 2Q16.


  • In January 2016, Netflix launched its subscription streaming service in some 130+ new markets, making the service available "everywhere," with the exception of China, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea.
