Vivendi has reported a 15.4% year-on-year increase in revenue for UMG for the first six months of 2015. At constant exchange rates and perimeter, the revenue growth rate was much lower, at 3.4%.


  • Vivendi said the rise in 1H15 was driven by growth in driven by growth in all its divisions. Recorded music income was boosted by a number of factors, most notably a sharp rise in earnings from streaming. Publishing revenue also benefitted from higher streaming sales and merchandising income was boosted by greater touring activity.
