Ovum's network traffic forecast provides in-depth analysis of how future digital content and services will be consumed over different networks and devices.


  • Globally, total data traffic from cellular and consumer fixed broadband networks will grow at a 25% CAGR over the next five years. Over 1 million petabytes (PB) of data – the equivalent of every person on the planet uploading around 500,000 photos – will be transferred in 2020, up from around 340,000 PB in 2015.
