  • Until 2016, premium paid-for OTT had remained underdeveloped in Latvia, despite relatively high broadband penetration of 65%. The launch of three international OTT players in 2016 – Netflix, Modern Times Group's Viaplay, and Amazon Prime – should, however, help push OTT development along in Latvia.
