This presentation provides an update on KPN Group operations to end-4Q15, covering financial performance, market dynamics, key developments, latest products, and strategic initiatives.


  • KPN’s adjusted group revenues from continuing operations were down by 8.1% year-on-year in 4Q15 as a result of the ongoing decline of business segment market size.
  • In the Netherlands, the incumbent KPN had more than 52% of total mobile subscriptions and 43% of total fixed broadband subscriptions by the end of 2015. KPN had 722,000 FTTH subscribers in 2015.
  • KPN sold BASE Company to Telenet (a subsidiary of Liberty Global) in February 2016. KPN transferred 100% of its interest in BASE to Telenet for €1,325m. KPN also reduced its stake in Telefonica Deutschland by 5% to 15.5% in November 2015.
