Introduction

In April 2016 Ovum teamed up with the Six Degrees Group, a UK-based converged technology provider, to hear from a panel of mid-market enterprises on the subject of cloud computing. Participants shared their views of four key cloud-related themes during a three-hour dinner session in central London.

Highlights

  • Mid-market enterprises want simple templates and solutions that address business issues, as well as strong customer service. They do not care much about whether or not and to what extent what underpins these templates and solutions is cloud or not, although mid-market IT should care about the consequences, both positive and negative, of the technology and design that underpin these templates and solutions.

Features and Benefits

  • Gain an overview of mid-market perspectives on cloud computing.
  • Understand how mid-market companies are approaching cloud computing?.

Key questions answered

  • How are mid-market companies approaching cloud computing? What are the benefits and the challenges?
  • How does cloud computing affect mid-market enterprises' relationships with their own IT departments? What do mid-market enterprises expect from their cloud service providers?
