Ovum's enterprise architecture self-assessment maturity model is designed to enable organizations to obtain a high-level overview of how mature their processes, thinking, and procedures are about enterprise architecture.


  • Ovum considers enterprise architecture to be more than just the implementation of frameworks and tools; it is about a change in thinking around outcomes and deliverables.

Features and Benefits

  • The model is split into eight different categories that represent the key attributes, or operations, of enterprise architecture.
  • The level an organization is operating at in terms of its enterprise architecture maturity is shown at the bottom of the "Maturity model" tab and a definition of each of the different levels is located on the "Maturity level" tab.
