Highlights

  • After a strong finish to 2014, the new year got off to a slow start in the IT services market. The number of contracts announced in 1Q15 was down 7% on the final three months of 2014, with small deals once again dominating the landscape.
  • The high level of demand for small projects, valued at $10m or less, is largely being driven by government agencies.
  • Europe continues to dominate private sector contract activity, contributing more than 60% to both quarterly deal volume and total contract value (TCV).
