  • FirstMedia, a provider of home broadband and cable TV services, continued its upward trajectory in financial performance from previous years. Revenue from pay-TV services increased from IDR1.085510tn in 2016 to IDR1.43428tn in 2017, driven by a consistent increase in cable TV subscriptions and TV ARPU.
  • Pay-TV providers are now bundling their TV service with 4G mobile data services in order to survive in the hypercompetitive pay-TV market. MNC Vision has partnered with XL Axiata, and FirstMedia bundles cable TV services with Bolt’s 4G data packs.
