TZ Wong is a senior analyst providing strategic analysis of the challenges and threats facing service providers and vendors, and advising on market trends and opportunities.

A member of the core IoT team within Ovum's Enterprise research pillar, TZ provides analysis and advice on the IoT strategies of service providers and vendors. Formerly with the Service Provider & Markets and Consumer Technology teams, he has researched on the retail and device strategies of service providers, as well as their innovation, disruption, and pricing initiatives. He is regularly sought for informed comment in business news services such as Bloomberg, Dow Jones, and Reuters.

In previous roles, TZ has both managed and built mobility advisory services and produced qualitative and quantitative analysis on both worldwide and Asia-Pacific market trends in the smartphone, tablet, and PC industries. Prior to joining the research sector, he was a subeditor with Thomson Reuters.

TZ holds a bachelor's degree in Communications Studies from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where he specialized in survey design, fieldwork, and data analysis, and has worked in China, Japan, and Singapore.
